Recently I have just received an unexpected postage from Bermaz and the mail sounds like this:

Wow! I'm truly surprised of receiving this membership card [click here to view the history] last week. Now I can enjoy more discounts on several outlets of the Berjaya Group of Companies, eg: Starbucks, Kenny Rogers Roasters, Wendy's, KrispyKreme Doughnuts, Papa John's Pizza and of course the purchase of spareparts from Mazda.

With the competitive markets nowadays, business owners really needs to think of all sorts of marketing strategies to attract the buyer in order to gain revenue. For sure, after-sales service is one of the essential key so to increase the customer's satisfaction and the level of confidence on the purchased brand.

Well, just like this membership card, although the discount offered is small and actually nothing to shout about BUT it's indirectly provides me the feeling of "exclusiveness" and being pampered by Mazda. I felt this is really a value added service, at least they are willing to spend some times, ideas and cost to do this for its customers. Am I right?

Berbuka Puasa Buffet at Eccucino, Prince Hotel & Residence KL

Wooo....Puasa and Raya time is coming soon! Did you try to berbuka puasa together with your friends or colleagues? For me, yes! I did it last year during the vendor treat at one of the hotel nearby my office ^^

In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan, Eccucino's culinary team presents menu with over fifty buffet items, menu changed daily, with a range of popular Malaysian dishes from various States and home-cooked "kampung" dishes.

Interesting features including specialty "Hawker stalls" comprises the Meat Carving highlighting Kambing Bakar, Eccucino Signature Kampung Style Hot Pot Soup, Beef & Chicken Rendang, Lemang and Ketupat, Roti Canai, Murtabak, as well as Noodles, Satay, Deep Fryers and popular Malay dishes. Among the feature on the buffet include cold selections consist of a range of salads, and appetizers such as acar, otak-otak, kerabu, ulam-ulam and serunding.

The highlights on the buffet are - the famous Malay Hot selections such as Bubur Lambok which I never try before ^^, selection of Kurma, Indian selections, Chinese selections, Western selections such as seafood on Ice, Japanese selections such as Teppanyaki Stall as well as the Dessert selections featuring the Cold Slab Ice Cream. Please meet the adorable and completely adored Tse Tse with 2.5 months old now! In the past 4 months, I've photographed a set of pregnancy photos with San, Tse Tse's mummy. 4 months later, I've another set of baby photographs with Tse Tse, the little princess of Hew's family ^^ I really feel good to see the baby gave birth and grown up healthily. It was just great!

Carl's Jr. - The Only Burger That I Want!

Carl's Jr. - the famous burger expert in town! For fast food lover, I'm sure you will fall in love with their burger simply because of the fresh, juicy and huge amount of ingredients used by Carl's Jr. So that's also 1 of the reason why I can't finish the burger by myself coz of HUGE! So usually I'll share the "load" with either hubby or friends and at the same time we'll order some sidelines like salads or Chili Cheese Fries to settle our meal ^^

On last Tuesday, me and my fellow foodies was having the burger feast at Carl's Jr. 1 Utama branch ^^

Chili Cheese Fries - And we had 3 packet of this fries!! Love the generous minced beef toppings with cheddar cheese on the hot fries!


Jumbo Chili Dog - I would says that this is something worth trying and the combination of hot dog and minced beef was just great!


Double Western Bacon Cheese Burger - If you love beef patty with some crispy onion ring underneath the burger, I'm sure this would be your no.1 choice! ^^


Single Chili Cheese Burger - For ladies, I think single beef patty suits us more~ I love this simply because of the mild spiciness of the melting cheesy with minced beef, tasted a little bit of fusion and I just can't stop to having it!


Portobello Mushroom Burger - Charbroiled 100% black Angus beef patty, portobello mushrooms, Swiss cheese, red onion, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise on a toasted sesame seed bun. Yummy-licious~


Single Teriyaki Burger - Wow! With a piece of grilled pineapple, luv it~


Famous Star with Cheese - minimalist burger, charbroiled beef patty, with cheese, tomato and toasted bun, simple and perfect.


The Big Carl - A classic with Cheese can never go wrong because you can really taste the beef patty and you will think that your life is complete now with the burger.

Carl's Jr. will never let you down if you are not a beef person, chicken and fish are also available in their burger selection! Let's check it out:

Bacon Swiss Crispy Chicken - A Crispy Chicken Fillet with Melted Swiss Cheese, Crispy Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato and Ranch Sauce on a Seeded Bun. The chicken patty was fried just right with the juice retained, plus the bacon made it better.


Carl’s Catch Fish Sandwich - 2 pieces of battered fish fillets and tartar sauce in toasted bun. I'm sure mum will like this too!


Crispy Chicken - Something similar to bacon swiss, but just with the chicken without the bacon.


If you don't want to have any bun, Fish & Chips would be another ideal choice for you!

It was really fun to go for food hunting in a big group coz we managed to taste varieties of choices in 1 time! Mmmm...so satisfy with this burger feast! Oppsss.....I think my weight is going to gain another 1-2 KG *burp*
