I think there is nothing happier than people give you a chance or opportunity to do what you like or what you want. Why suddenly said so? Because I'm lucky enough to be given a chance for a photography session and this is my 1st
PAID job on Event Shooting ^^ Thanks to the 2 guys (K-san & A-san)who have been trusted my ability, I do appreciate it very much!
Actually I'm kinda surprised with the call received a day before the event. Knowing that I will be shooting the event alone, I've re-asked K-san:
"What? Me alone? I can handle meh?"
"You sure or not?"
"Later scare no nice, customer will blame leh...."Hahaha...after cool down by K-san, I immediately promised to take this up. Wao! Such a great chance and experience for me. At least, I know my effort in photography wasn't a waste, someone trusted me and think of me for assignment
*happy* (over abit jor....hehe!)
Let's take a look on the end results on my shooting for the event. Although it's not tip top good, but myself is quite satisfy with the output.
Well, what do you think? I personally feel that the pressure is always there in photo shooting especially when it is a paid assignment. How to overcome it? Try to treat it as the casual shooting and be more alert on the surroundings lor...Basically it's just the same thing when you are at work, do your best to achieve the KPI, don't forget that your company is paying you for the high quality of performance as well ^^
Is it hard in shooting an event? Definitely yes, at least for me. Coz you need to be more alert and fast enough to capture every single moment throughout the whole event. Tell you what, my fingers were so tired after the 3 hours shooting le~ Ya, just 3 hours and can caused the fingers pain, so "malu" la... Anyway, no pain no gain - i don't mind to get more of this pain....hehe!
Ciao~
