Knowing that this year's valentine's day fall on the CNY day-1, guess I won't be able to have time for the dinner celebration with 肥肥. Hence we decided to have an early "candle light dinner" and we've chosen this restaurant to enjoy our meal ^^
Both of us love Thai food very much, MyThai (inspired by Jim Thompson) - it's the place to be. A little history about Jim Thompson before I proceed with the food pictures:
"James Harrison Wilson "Jim" Thompson (born March 21, 1906 in Greenville, Delaware - unknown) was an American businessman who helped revitalize the Thai silk and textile industry in the 1950s and 1960s. A former U.S. military intelligence officer who once worked for the Office of Strategic Services, Thompson mysteriously disappeared while going for a walk on Easter Sunday, March 26, 1967, in the Cameron Highlands of Malaysia. Many hypotheses have been put forward to explain his disappearance, but what actually happened to him remains a mystery.

At MyThai, they served the combination of authentic Thai home cooking and warm conviviality in a homely setting. The environment here was cozy and quiet, listening to the Thai rhythm while enjoying the fragrant and delicious Thai food.
I noticed that majority of the restaurants at Starhill Gallery has the open concept kitchen, MyThai is 1 of them to have this idea.
At the first glance, I thought it was a booklet to introduce Jim Thompson. But I'm wrong, it was a menu where you can find the varieties of Thai dishes in it.
In case you don't know who is Jim Thompson, he is the one, the man who responsible for single-handedly revitalising the Thai silk industry.
Let's check out what we've ordered that evening ^^

Yam Poo Nim (deep fried soft shell crab with mango) @RM26

My favorite - Tom Yam Goong @RM25

Phad Thai Goong (stir fried rice noodles with chicken, egg, pickle radish and bean sprout) @RM22

GT. Keemaow Gai (stir fried kuey teow topped with Thai gravy, chicken and broccoli) @Rm24

肥肥's favorite - Tub Tim Grob (crispy water chestnut in coconut milk with ice) @RM12
Overall, the food tasted good, and the spicy level up to my standard ^^ I personally think the price of the food wasn't that expensive (with the consideration of the dining environment and the venue), but the drink's price was really killing...hehe! Will I come back here again? Answer is
