Appreciation Dinner @Kampachi Pavilion

I've revisit Kampachi, Pavilion last Friday again - Thanks to Alex for the dinner treat ^^ It was an appreciation dinner from Alex coz a few of us helped Alex and Phoebe for the wedding photography session. To refresh the photos that I've taken for them, you may check out below links:

We've ordered set meals as well as some of the ala-carte like my favorite soft shell crab maki. Phoebe is a fan of Japanese Sake, so no doubt her hubby ordered a bottle of sake to share among all of us.

OuR BiG Day!

Me and 肥肥 done with another mission as part of the preparation for the wedding - which is to pick an auspicious date for the wedding day a.k.a "chut-moon" (出门). Initially we thought of just choose a date which we prefer without consult any Chinese Master but 肥肥's grandma disagreed on that, so we got no choice but to respect the elderly people's decision. We got a recommendation from our friend that the "sifu" from Wang Kwok @Puchong was good and not so expensive. So, we thought of give it a visit on last Saturday.

Wang Kwok

It's a shop lot which selling all kinds of wedding gifts, like the betrothal gifts. They are also providing the service for "Da Kam Jeh" (大妗姐), wedding invitation card printing, actual day wedding photography, fortune teller and etc.

Photobucket

Without delaying the time, we told our preferred date to the master and let him calculate for us if it suits us. While the calculation in progress, me and 肥肥 are quite worry that the date we picked is not a good day for wedding. Why so worry? Not to surprise you but the restaurant booking was taken up very fast especially on the "ONG" date! And we've placed the booking (write our name under the booking list) at a few desired restaurant on our preferred date. In case the date is not good for us, we need to re-survey again on the restaurant le...

We felt relief after around 10 minutes time, coz the master told us that the date we chosen is indeed a very good date for marriage base on our birth date. It's called "moon-yat" (满日), which means anything we do will turn out the good result/luck (master praised us why so smart to pick that date :p) **phew**

Photobucket

We continued to look for the details on when to "guo dai lai" (过大礼) and bed installation (安床). No hair dressing b'coz we try to minimize the traditional process and make it as simple as we could. We stayed there in Wang Kwok about an hour plus to chit chat with the master, and we paid RM130 for the service.

Oh ya~ After telling the long story, the auspicious date is actually falls on 18.Dec.2010 for "chut-moon" and 19.Dec.2010 for wedding reception. Hehehe...Don't "ceh" ok? I know it's long way to go, but it's always good to have a proper planning ahead rather than last minute work, right? Wish me good luck and I will keep you guys posted on the update of my wedding "project"! ^^

Perodua Alza Launching :: 23.11.09

I just back from Perodua showroon to kepoh about the new 7 seated MPV - Perodua Alza. The exterior of this car looks so nice, just like the face-lift for Toyota Wish.

Alza-front

Alza came with 3 categories, which is the Standard, Premium and Advanced Version (Sport Edition) with the 6 choices of colors like Metalic Purple, Metalic Gray, Metalic Silver, Metalic Black, Special Metalic Pearl White and Solid White.

Alza-side

The price was ranges as low as RM55,490 for standard manual(solid) to RM69,990 for the Advanced Sport version.

Alza-rear

Alza-engine

Perodua Alza designed with the high performance 1.5L DVVT, DOHC with EFI engine which delivers excellent fuel economy, smooth pick-up and acceleration, and cleaner gas emissions with minimal vibration noise. (Ahemmm...this is according to the brochure not uLi ya ^^)

steering
The steering wheel for premium version came with the audio switches.

panel

This is the audio panel and the gear shift lever on the instrument panel. Looks not bad too. The audio system came with CD Player, MP3/WMA and Bluetooth. What? Bluetooth? Ya...according to them, that's the wireless bluetooth connection with the handphone where can talk to the phone without any handsfree device.

alza

I can see there are many people placing the booking there by RM500 booking fee (guess it's not refundable). 10% downpayment once loan approved and you gotta wait for minimum 3 months for the car collection.

catalogue-1

catalogue-2

I kinda like the Advanced Version, very sporty look with the body-kit. And it also came with the GPS, reverse camera, tinted film and full leather seat covers. Like only, no budget for it :( I still love my little mini - Kelisa...hehehe!

If you would like to find out more on the technical specs, check out on the Perodua website or go to the nearest showrooom have a look on the "handsome" localized MPV le. I would says that Alza looks much nicer than Exora (sorry Proton, as I'm a fan for Perodua :p ).

November Birthday Celebration

Besides of the Genting trip, I had 2 birthday celebrations in a row for 肥肥 and MiaoMiao as well. Both of them are November babies ^^ Both celebrations were simple but warm.

16.Nov.2009
Alan

Celebrated the birthday at my home, bought 肥肥 a birthday cake and KFC...hehe! Alex (in yellow jersey), the 10 years ++ "heng dai", came after his work to celebrate 肥肥's birthday together as well.

What I've bought for 肥肥 as the gift? Ooopsss...nothing! He told me that he already received the b'day gift for this year, which is ME - the wife2be in coming Dec'09! Hehehe... Anyway, I told him that I will buy him a PS3 as the birthday present and it's redeemable until next year Oct'10 ^^

19.Nov.2009
MiaoMiao

This year is MiaoMiao's 2nd birthday. We've celebrated her big day at the nearest McD. Her daddy bought her a set of Barbie toys - the musical piano and guitar. Cool present and MiaoMiao likes it very much! During the celebration, MiaoMiao was so excited and happy to play at the playground. The birthday cake totally attracted her attention and she was so eager to blow off the candles. Cute and lovely~

I managed to book a deluxe room at Awana Genting under the promotion rate @RM159 nett per room per night with 2 breakfast (normal rate is RM238++), I think it's really worth it ^^

Basically I've took a lot of pictures on MiaoMiao and I'm going to share these pix here. Not forgotten to share with you guys on the food hunted during the trip as well.

Makan-Makan
Ho Yao Gei

Lunch at "Ho Yao Gei" (Genting Hotel). Trio Roast Platter @RM30; Vege @13.30; Crispy Beancurd @RM18. It's definitely over-priced but somehow you need to pay for it coz you are @Genting ^^

Maxis priced its stock at 5.00 ringgit a share for institutional investors and 4.75 ringgit each for retailers, at the mid-to-lower end of the indicative range."
