hOliday @ Koh Samui [Day 2]

-Day 2 @Samui-

  • We had our early breakfast at hotel's restaurant before heading to Lamai. While waiting for the rest to dress-up, me and 肥肥 went to the beach right behind the Samui First House to have a walk there. What a peaceful nice sea...

  • Here is the Lamai town area, quite similar like Chaweng but I heard Lamai is not as happening as Chaweng. We took tuk-tuk there and it cost us @50 Baht/pax. May be we are too early coz most of the shops/restaurant were not opened yet. So just shop at a few shops and I managed to hunt for a dress here

  • Samui Shooting Sport - we asked the tuk-tuk driver brought us here since the guys thought of experience with the real gun shooting (watched too much of TVB series dy )
  • The price is not so cheap compared to the one I played before at Hatyai. It cost about 1000 Baht for Alan to try out the short gun shooting (10 bullets), but to me consider OK la coz 1 time experience...hehehe! Myself didn't play this round coz as mentioned, I played before @Hatyai.
  • See picture above, all guys looked so "ying" a.k.a SMART!!!

  • Right after the shooting sport, we are heading to Bungy Jump. Yes, you hear me, is Bungy Jump! Phoebe and CN were the Bravo! one this round. After the site inspection for about 25 minutes, they've finally decided to JUMP!!
  • Pay and jump at 1600 Baht - "No refund if no jump" Haha! They owner reallly mean it.
  • Anyway, I need to comment a few points here about this Samui Bungy Jump Fun Park - the staff and the boss here are not really friendly . Beware if you try to bargain the price with them, they intend to scold you if you requested too much of stuffs with the lower price. I personally won't recommend my friend to come here...

  • It was 2pm++, my stomach "gi-li-gu-lu", was so hungry and can't wait for the lunch. We had our day-2 lunch at the small restaurant outside the hotel. The Tom Yum soup was fantastic, with the taste of sour and spicy, me and Yew rated it at "A+". The sandwich also tasted good but the Phat Tai which I ordered is over-salted

  • It's 5pm now, time to depart to the famous Full Moon Party at Haad Rin beach. Haad Rin is a peninsular beach area and town on the southern tip of Ko Pha Ngan. (Ref: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haad_Rin) It takes us about 15 minutes to reach there from K.Samui by speed boat.
  • The speed boat experience really excited! With the waves together with 40 people on the same boat -> Fast and Furious

  • 100 Baht for the entrance fee - I like their purple color band, as the signature that you've been to Full Moon Party.
  • Upon arrival at the location, we walked down some stores. The journey to the beach was engaging. The stores displayed many colourful items. Among them were liquors. Liquors + mixer in bucket, ranges from 250 Baht onwards. You gotta mix and match, pour it into the bucket and drink from there using straw. Cool experience~ Guess I would never have the chance to try it out in KL.

  • It was another rainy night @samui. However, the rain doesn't stop us from being the "party animal". Along the way to the beach, I can hear the "clubbing" rythm came to my ear. Everyone seems carrying a happy and excited face, party, party and party!
  • Simple layout on the beach, it was segmented into a few parts. Fire Swings, Wishwell Lantern, Water Color Tatoo stalls, liquor stalls, and people; are all you can see on the beach.
  • I've tried on a water color tatoo (butterfly print) for my right arm - 100 Baht. It was beautifully drawn by the artist, love it!

  • We enjoyed ourselves very much @Full Moon Party. I believed it would be greater if there is no rain throughout the night! I would say that Full Moon Party is a must visit place regardless if you are/aren't "party animal". The crowd was just sepectacular with lots of good music, people jumping & dancing. It's really a good experience!
  • Well, all of us managed to walk out of the beach in a straight line. Didn't drink a lot though. Sitting at the back on the speed boat, enjoying the drizzling rain with the strong wind and we arrived at the shore after 15 minutes.
  • Time to back hotel, z z z... ...
