Goodbye Raymond and Cya In Melbourne~

Come on, I just don't wish to post more farewell of my friends here but...... Yup, this seems another farewell event thrown by OD gang to Raymond, the most funniest guy among my OD members! He had tendered the resignation recently due to he planned to migrate to Australia with family in this month end. So sad to hear that another good colleague is leaving us :( And I guess we'll going to miss him so much. Without his craziness in the party, I wonder if the coming OD event will still be so lively or not? *put this question aside first*

The farewell was held at Pantai Seafood restaurant. Second time been to this restaurant and this round was really terrible experience. Why? Due to now is the season of "sao gong zao", the restaurant was fully booked and the parkings were all FULL! until it took us about 45 minutes to an hour time to find a parking lot! That was a painful experience to some of my friends! Anyway, although its abit painful in the beginning, but all of us did enjoyed until the max in this dinner. How? Check this out!

Waliao~ Raymond brought all his liquor collections and came! He wants us to finish it and he don't plan to carry this migrate together to Aus...hahaha! I love the taste of the Lychee one :P

We'll never missed the fun of "drink" in the makan session. Basically everyone has to sit on the "dentist" chair (creative idea by Raymond which inherited from the previous sao gong zao) and take turns to drink - directly pour from the bottle =.="

Workshop @Renaissance KL

Renaissance KL, a 5 stars rated hotel located at KL. Although I've been hearing about the luxurious of this hotel but personally I never step into this place until last week. RW, 1 of the roaming vendor had organized a workshop there and I've been invited to attend to this session ^^ Feeling a bit of excited coz its a relax working day again :P

Here is the West Wing of the hotel, also the place where we will be having the workshop later on. The hotel has been decorated with the CNY decor, like the one you are seeing now in the picture. Nice~

We had our buffet lunch at TEMPTationS Restaurant. Look, Yee Sang was being served! Ehemmm... this was ordered separately and not included in the buffet le...hehe! My 2nd Lou Sang in this WooHoo year~ Luv it!

We continued the workshop right after the heavy lunch..... While having the discussion, my mind still thinking of the colorful Marshmallow stick @Choc Fondue corner just now... hehehe ^^

Lumut Trip (Chapter II)

Journey continue here ......

It took us about 4 hours ++ to reach Teluk Rubiah (Lumut) under the "guidance" of GPS. Quite a long journey inside the car until my butt became "flat" already :P

Finally we reached to our resort - Teluk Rubiah Beach and Golf Resort.

All the rooms here are in wooden chalet type and its very near to the beach, just about 2 minutes walk. Great recommendation for those budget travelers. I personally love the scenery here especially the beach ^^

Alright! Checked out the time, its already 2pm, everyone felt so hungry and wanted to hunt for good food! Luckily our organizer - Ken has a lady friend who stayed in Lumut, and immediately we called up her and meet up for the highly recommended SEAFOOD lunch!

Look! From the left (top), we have the Baby Octopus, Tou Fu, Stingrays Fish in special marinated sauce, Shrimp Crackers (super good)，Tom Yam Fresh Prawns, Oyster Pancake, Crabs and Fried Sotong.

Claypot fish in red sauce, minced crab meats which to be wrap and eat together with the vege, and the local style's dessert - Sugar Coated Yam. All the above dishes (each dish came with 2 sets due to 2 tables) only cost about RM270 for 16 people. Cheap isn't it?

Pusat Pengurusan Penyu, our next destination. Never expect this in Lumut and it was my first time seeing so many sea turtles in 1 shot ^^

After visited to the turtle place, we went back to the resort for activities like kite flying, photos taking like the sunset photos which I've posted in previous post, some just rest and relax on the beach.......

For dinner, initially we wanted to hunt for the famous red-wine mee suah at 1 of the famous restaurant in Lumut but unfortunately that restaurant was being "booked" (包场) for function, so end up we went to another seafood restaurant named "Villa" to enjoy our dinner. Sorry guys, not all dish's photos post up here as I was too hungry and busy to grab the food :P Check on the Asam Fish, that is the signature dish for this restaurant and no doubt, it was great in taste!

Everyone seems tired and sleepy after the dinner, we just have some chit-chat till 12am++ and went to meet our good friend - Mr.Chow Gong (周公）^^ On the next morning, I myself woke up around 8am, the weather was so cooling and I am so reluctant to take a shower :P So, I just brushed my teeth and went off to the beach to continue with my photo-shooting...hehe! Let's check out some of the pictures took in the lovely morning...

There are some fresh coconuts fall down from the tree, we just collect and open it by using our own "technique" to quench our thirst...interesting huh~

It's 11:30am, time to say GoodBye to the Teluk Rubiah Golf Resort~

We continued our journey in hunting the local packed food at this place, "Satay King".

Check out the shop.....they are selling varieties of food which is good to buy some for friends and family ^^

Ikan Masin, anyone?

Look at him...Wao! Do you really need to buy so much? Hahaha...While waiting for paying the stuffs, we asked the taukeh for the famous kopitiam which serve the yummy local delicacy food. He drawn us a map but end up he offered to take us there since nearby...so kind of him ^^

This is the kopitiam not far away from Satay King, 10 minutes drive. Let's check out what are the yummy-licious food here:

First and foremost, the yummy Loh Mee with Fried Fish Meat.

Followed by the Kolo Foo Chow Noodles (top pix), and fried noodles (bottom pix). I love the Foo Chow noodles...Though it looked simple but I can tell you the taste was really great!

Finally, the Red Wine Mee Suah!! I am not a fan of Mee Suah but since I'm been hearing about this famous dish around Lumut, it's time for me to have a taste on it. Hehehe! Well, maybe the expectation set was too high, I find it not that super delicious after all. Hmmm...may be my stomach already full and that's why......Anyway, I am very satisfied with the lunch coz of the food originality ^^

Overall, the trip was fun and I had a good time with this bunch of siao gang. Of course, I took this opportunity to take a lots of photos using my new toy ^^ Hopefully there will be more short trip on cuti-cuti Malaysia ^^

Lumut Trip (Chapter I)

Let's continue the story after I got my new 500D ^^ Immediately the next day I brought it for a 2D1N short trip to Teluk Rubiah, Lumut. This trip was accompanied by a bunch of siao gang who are 肥肥's secondary schoolmates. Initially the night before I was wondering whether should or shouldn't I bring along the new cam, coz worry I am not familiar on how to use it, no doubt I am too sleepy at that point of time and can't think of anything else... ...

Luckily I made a wise decision on the next morning, there is nothing that you don't know, it's just the matter you want to learn it or not? Since I already have the knowledge in handling my G-zai, I find it using 500D is not that difficult as I thought, basically the SLR functions are quite similar with G-zai, so I am quite confident in handle the 500D after a few hours practice when I am on the way to Lumut.

We stayed at Teluk Rubiah Beach and Golf Resort (resort name sounds canggih but the place is actually quite old, I rate it at 3 ***). This photo was taken at the private beach side which is accessible by the patrons.

We actually got the chance to see the local fishermen(nelayan)catching the fish using the huge net in the early morning (about 7am). What a great experience of seeing this ^^

Because of them, we got fish to eat everyday ^^
